Our Finchley Space 2B will be closed for refurbishment, starting Friday 4th August until Friday 25th August. We are back open on Friday 1st September. The Mill Hill venue on Wednesday will continue as normal.
Barnet Voice for Mental Health Is an independent voluntary organisation that is celebrating over 21 years of involvement in the mental health community of Barnet. Offering peer support from people who know the challenges and now help others develop through understanding and encouragement.
"We value our mental health experiences and harness them for the improvement of services in Barnet"➥
We run a drop-in called 'Space 2B' and that means exactly what it says, a space for you to be within'.
Two afternoons a week you will get a choice of different activities depending on who is there to run them. So, it can be a bit of a 'lucky dip' - from hand massage, art, knitting and crochet, relaxation, song writing and singing, jigsaws, games, manicures, felting, card making or even sort out your mobile phone & computer problems!
Then why not come along to our Support Group? We realise that support is very important when you are feeling vulnerable and unable to function clearly.
The support group is a place that you can feel safe, make new friends, share and learn from others about coping with mental health distress and find out about where to get help in the community. You can come along when it suits you and as often as you like.
